Let’s see if this old pony is of any use … and I immediately notice, he’ll need a lot of training! He doesn’t even understand basic commands that I give him with my boots and my crop – he almost ran head straight into a wall! So we’ll have to start with the very basics … walking forwards and backwards, turning left and right, turning around on the spot! Should we test different riding paces as well? This slave is more like a lousy donkey than a decent pony … but with some training, we might just get him to an acceptable state … if his knees hold up long enough!
